Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

A regional fantasy map generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Full Package

Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:

  • Advanced Terrain Generator
  • Dungeon Creation Tool
  • City Designer 3
  • Cosmographer 3
  • Viewpoint Enhancement
  • Dioramas 3
  • Character Artist 3
  • Symbol Set 2: Fantasy Floorplans
  • Contemporary Design Pack
  • Symbol Set 4: Dungeons of Schley
  • Symbol Set 5: Cities of Schley
  • Monster Token Collection 2
  • Religious Structure Maps
  • World War 2 Interactive Atlas
  • World Builder’s Compendium
  • Annual Volumes 1-17
  • Campaign Cartographer 3+ (Lifetime License)
  • Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
  • Tome of Ultimate Mapping
  • Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland
  • Monster Token Set 1
  • Source Maps: Castles!
  • Metropolitan Source Maps

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
